GBOX F3 / Ingenius3 Back Focus Adjustment

Perform this simple test:

1. Open the iris fully

2. Zoom all the way IN

3. Focus the image

4. Zoom all the way OUT

5. If the image is unfocussed, the Back Focus requires adjustment.

Back Focus Adjustment Procedure:

Ensure that the iris is fully open and that a +2 adaptor/close-up is attached to the front of the lens (Factory fitted in most cases)

1. Loosen the two locking grub screws (1.5mm Hex drive) on the camera (rear and side) to release the back focus ring to be able to adjust it

2. Zoom all the way IN

3. Focus the image

4. Zoom all the way OUT

5. Rotate the camera until it is in focus (Rotate the lens on the Ingenius3/UGenius3)

6. Tighten the locking grub screws

7. Rotate the camera until the image is straight

8. Zoom all the way IN

9. Focus the image

10. Zoom all the way OUT

11. If the image is still in focus then the back focus adjustment has been done successfully, otherwise go back to step 1 and try again.
