Gathering the Log Files from a ProtoCOL 2/3 Unit

PROTOCOL 2/3 LOGS

 

To access the logs, you may need to enable the viewing of Hidden Folders.

 

In Windows Explorer, click “Tools” from the menu bar, then folder options, then the “View” tab.  Then select Show hidden files and folders.  Press “Apply”, then “Apply to All Folders”

 

Now you should be able to navigate to :

 

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Synbiosis\ProtoCOL\Logs

 

There should be a list of Archive files named ProtoCOL.log.20xx-xx-xx (the date of the log file), plus 1 file named ProtoCOL.log.

 

Please zip ProtoCOL.log and the other files that correspond to the period the Unit has been malfunctioning.  We do NOT need all of the archive files, just the ones relating to the period the problem has been occurring.

 

Attach the zipped files to an email addressed to support@synbiosis.com
